      March 4th 1743 As I now lye on a Sick Bed and have but small hopes of my Recovery
      my Desire is that my wife have one third the other two thirds of what remains I give to my dear Daughter Anna Thomas All my wearing apparel working and living be for the use of my Grandson Abram Anderson in Cecil County Maryland as allso I give unto the aforesaid Anderson One Hundred Acres of land on Augusteen Manner as allso One Hundred acres of land being paid of the aforesaid Maner I give my Grandson Guildshott Thomas the same being where I formerly lived but if either of the aforesaid Anderson
      or Thomas dye then the Survivor of them to injoy the whole Allso to Gildshot Thomas I give my Kowboy[sic] Sadell & Bridell, But the aforesaid land being at this time under rent for eight yrs to come My Desire is that the yearly Rent be paid punctually to the landlord on the twenty fifth of Decbr and that the remainder of the rent as becomes due be paid One Third to my wife & the other two thirds to my daughter Anna Thomas and that after the said lien be ended as I gave that then my aforesaid grandsons injoy the land. And further I desire that my good friends Andrew Bryan and Adam Peterson of St Georges Hundred see the above Wrighting Performed - Witnessed my Hand the day & year above written

      Adam Peterson\} Cecil County 7 June 1744 Andrew Bryan and Adam Peterson the witnesses to the foregoing will did depose and say that they saw this Testator Lawrence Gailshiott sign the foregoing will and heard him publish and declare the same to be his last will and testament and at the time of his doing he was to the best of their apprehension of sound and disposing mind and memory and that they subscribed their respective Names as witnesses to the said will in the presence of John Thomas (Son in Law to the Dec'd) which same John Thomas did not object to the Probate of Will in testimony
