- Nola Mae Thomas Lee Published: Thursday, August 21, 2008 9:00 PM EDT Nola Mae Thomas Lee, 74, of Nahunta, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at her daughter?s residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Appling County, her parents were Melvin and Ella Mae Wasdin Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Lavoid Lowman and Isacc Lee; a daughter, Clara Mae Lowman and a brother, Carroll Thomas. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include eight children and their spouses, Raymond and Jan Lowman, Raybon, Gary M. Lowman, Hortense, Sue J. and Robert Melton, Waycross, Craig D. Lowman, Reidsville, Morgan Lowman and Kenny Lowman, both of Raybon, Wyatt and Vicky Lowman, Hortense and Sheila and John Trusievitz, Jesup; 21 grandchildren, Billy Lowman, Suzy Boatright, Dana Edwards, April Lowman, Dessa Lowman, Scott Melton, Dustin Melton, Amanda Lowman, Will Lowman, Patti Westberry, Shei Westberry, Tommy Lowman, Charlotte Davis, Brandi Lowman, Clara Lowman, Kenny Lowman III, Josey Lowman, Clinton Lowman, Nicholas Trusievitz, Ben Trusievitz and Jake Trusievitz; 27 great-grandchildren; a brother, Mack Thomas, Baxley and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. The body will be taken to the residence of her daughter, Sue Melton, 300 Mill Creek Rd Waycross, Friday afternoon for visitation. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, August 25, from the Lightsey Cemetery, Bristol with the Rev. Otis Boatwright and Tommy Lowman officiating. Active pallbearers will be Raymond Lowman, Gary M. Lowman, Craig D. Lowman, Morgan Lowman, Kenny Lowman, Wyatt Lowman, Tommy Lowman and Will Lowman.
